Silver Rocket: Suzuki GSX-R 1000

You all know the meaning of AMF, right? AutoMotoFoto. Every week you see exclusive features of cars from all around the world, but what about bikes you’ll ask?

So here is the first bike feature: a beautiful 2003 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 from France. This bike is not only gorgeous to look at almost seeming mythical, but is also a true beast! With 164hp (@10,800rpm) and only weighing in at 168kg, this bike is capable of doing 0 to 60mph sprints in just 3.3 seconds! Insane!

The owner of this custom Suzuki goes by the name of Raf and has a deep passion for all things GSX-R. So unlike other motorcycles, you won’t find any crazy mods that dilutes the nature of original design, instead only mods that make his ride breathe better. These slight changes include the signature must-have for any GSX-R, the Yoshimura tri-oval exhaust system and a K&N air filter that bumps power to around 170hp. One important detail to note is that here in France, motorcycles should not be more powerful than 100hp, but rules can always be bent… if not broken.

The only other modification on this silver rocket were done to the wheels as they’ve been painted in orange. Compared to the original finish it might a very simple mod, but the overall look is stunning!

For future mods, Raf mentioned that he’s thinking of painting the bike a unique color, but still staying true to the Suzuki spirit, so we’ll update you on the change.

So now, we’re left looking for for other exclusive bikes to feature so give us you’re thoughts. Don’t hesitate to contact us through our Facebook page or via email if you’d like to be featured on AMF!

Don’t forget: drive safely on roads guys, be it on four wheels or two!
