Hyper Meet 2013

Hyper Meeting 2013
Subaru Canada Head Office
Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
August 11, 2013

For the 10th year running, the Toronto Subaru Club put together the annual ‘Hyper Meeting’, a gathering of Toronto Subaru Club, Subaru employees, vendors and enthusiasts alike. Like previous years, the event was held at the Subaru Canada head office in Mississauga, which has a massive facility and parking lot perfect for a show of this size. People came from all over to spend a day in the sun with the GTA Subaru community and raise money for Ronald McDonald House.

The grounds were full of activities for the whole family. There was a dunk tank, a family zone complete with face painting, DJs, an RC car race track and even prize raffles through the day to ensure all guests were enjoying themselves. We, however, were there for the cars.

As soon as you drove into the neighborhood, you knew something was happening. Modified Subarus of all models and years were lining the streets in both directions.

Even the walk toward the event grounds from the nearby parking lot was good for photos. It was really cool to see all kinds of different takes on the Subaru platform, all customized to their owner’s standards.

The crowd wasn’t entirely made up of Subaru drivers. This rival Evo was sitting pretty among its competitors.

This Forester STI was certainly a rare find. Definitely a unique ride in this area, even at a Subaru meet!

We’d like to thank Toronto Subaru Club, Subaru Canada, and all of the people that come out to make this day possible. Seeing as the event grows every year, we expect more great things to come next year!
