Last week’s Ertefa meet had a strong turn out from the brave and bold that gathered despite the thunderstorm conditions. This week, thanks to 30+ degree weather and a clear night the expectation was easily in the 1000+ range of cars from all across Ontario gathering once again at this awesome meet. The AMF showcase once again had a great selection of top notch vehicles ranging from an RB-powered 3-series to one of the best and most powerful Mazda RX-7s in the country! Although the official roll-in begins as usual at 9pm, crowds began to appear shortly after 8:30pm to get prime parking positions and by 9:30pm the lot was nearly packed full. AMF in partnership with Ertefa had the “Best in Show” prize pack ready for one lucky winner, but with so many cars to choose from the decision wasn’t easy for anyone. The winner would once again receive an AMF prize pack consisting of some signature goodies (t-shirt, posters, and decals) and a complete detailing kit courtesy of Shining Monkey!
A nice pairing of Nissan 240SXs with the S14 on the left and S13 on the right. Which S-chassis would you pick out of two?
Our friend Sean from STREETPOWER brought out his matte grey rotary rocket out and showed support by parking in the AMF showcase. If you know anything about rotary power, then you know that this FD3S is all business all the time!
The winner of the AMF prize pack earlier this month in the gunmetal boosted NSX and his friend in the red NSX came out once again to show their support. Not seen in the pic were a few other cars that they brought out including some bad-ass Dodge Vipers. If one thing is for certain, it’s that these guys known what top notch cars are about!
For the German fans, this fresh looking Mercedes-Benz C62 AMG Coupe is what it’s all about. German V8 and more power than anyone could ever need on North American roads, then again who are we kidding?
These older BMWs looked awesome with their Euro-style changes like chunky and mesh wheels on the E30s and the E36 with M3 wheels.
The most eye-catching car of the night by far was this blue Shelby Cobra that made everyone’s jaw drop upon sight – be it Euro, JDM or Domestic car fans.
The two-wheelers were also out in full force. A tough choice between the Honda CBR Repsol edition and the Yamaha
A rare site in general was this Toyota FJ Cruiser. What was even more impressive was the full audio / visual setup in the car complete with motorized pieces and some cool blue lighting.
Quite possibly the most outrageous paint job on any vehicle, let alone a motorcycle. Yes, you’re seeing that right – it is painted like as if blood had been splattered. Shock value of 10!
For the vintage BMW fans, this 2002 looked awesome. It has been nearly two years since last spotted at an indoor show and we still can’t get enough of it. Feature anyone? Let us know!
For the Evo fans, this modified Mitsubishi EVO X should do the trick. AWD + Boost = Yes please!
This week’s winner of the AMF prize pack at the Ertefa meet was Wayne Ross for bringing out his gorgeous blue Shelby Cobra! The car is a piece of art from Factory Five Racing and under the hood is a powerful 5.0-liter, V8 Ford engine. Congratulations to Ross for bringing out his prized possession and sharing it with other enthusiasts at the meet. As always, one lucky winner is selected each and every week so be sure to come out next week for your chance to win!
