RacingOne Audi R8

The Bavarian mid-engine sports car is named after the Le Mans prototype Audi R8. It is produced by Quattro GmbH in Neckarsulm since 2006. The first study of a Le Mans Quattro dates back to 2003. Racing one, motor sports service provider and event organizer from Rhineland, has helped an Audi R8 V10 – the stock version is certainly not insufficiently motorized – gaining a total of about 610 horse powers through discreet changes in hardware as well as systematic adjustment of the engine mapping. An exhaust system made of titanium, naturally flip-controlled by Akrapovic plays the role of communication with the outside world.

Founded by Christian von Koenigsegg in Sweden, Koenigsegg first produced their street-legal supercar in 2002 after years of development resulting in the CC and the later version CCX. The niche company is also humble with its operations despite being a publicly traded company with roughly 90 shareholders at any given time. Fast forward to 2010 and the company was set to unveil its second official model – the Agera, which translates to “take action” in Swedish.
